When I first met J* (to protect her anonymity, I’ll only be using her first initial), she was stuck in a cycle of very bad relationships and didn’t know how to get out of the one she was in.
Not only did she finally LEAVE that relationship, she’s now in her first healthy one.
This is how we made that happen…
J invested in my 1:1 Reclaim & Recover Program because she was struggling in a trauma bond.
She kept trying to save the relationship at the expense of herself. Her partner had made her psychologically addicted to the relationship through his use of “intermittent reinforcement,” sprinkling love and affection in between bouts of abuse and manipulation.

We identified her challenges and defined her goal together.

Relying on the relationship for her own self-worth

We defined her goal as:
To break free from toxic relationships and restore trust in herself.
We then put these through the 3-step system:

Trading self-sacrificing for self-care led to J breaking free from toxic relationships and later, building a healthy one with a new partner.
